Hi! My name is Erin Pepin and I'm so excited to join Zen Yoga Studio as a yoga instructor! I believe yoga is for everyone. My goal is to provide a positive experience for you that will help build strength, confidence, happiness and positivity that lasts long after you roll up your mat.
My yoga journey began in 2013 when I was looking for a way to exercise while pregnant. Living in New York at the time, my neighbor and friend was teaching yoga out of her home and introduced me to the practice. After the birth of my daughter I continued practicing yoga on a daily basis. A few years into my practice my family and I relocated to Brunswick. The move, as well as personal health scares, started weighing heavily on me and I began suffering from anxiety which led to depression. Being new in town, I started searching for a yoga studio and discovered Zen Yoga. It was there that I learned quickly yoga is not only a form of exercise, but also a release for those suffering from depression, anxiety and stress. Turning to my mat, I began incorporating all elements of yoga into my practice: mind, body and spirit.
In 2015 I decided to take the next step in my yoga education and became a yoga instructor RYT-200. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to take yoga teacher training here at Zen Yoga under Linda Stevenson. I'm also a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. "Practice and all is coming." Pattabhi Jois
