I am currently a mental health case manager, and completing my masters degree in counseling and art therapy. I am passionate about working with, especially children. I adore volunteerism, and service learning abroad holds an extra special place in my heart. These experiences abroad and in the community are my hearts’ work which lead me to pursue my passions with yoga. Yoga came to me after studying meditation. It was something I was immediately connected to on and off the mat. I practice daily for mental and physical balance. I feel called to live out my passions of making connections with others, and providing support. I obtained my child yoga certification in August of 2016 and am currently enrolled in the 200 Yoga Teacher Training at Zen. Through my yoga training, I hope to extend my passions and abilities to community work and continue to help others find their light in their journey, the way yoga has been the light in mine.
